9) Power Details
If you have requested power, your site will have a power cord at the back for you to connect to your power source. The power outlet supplied from is 10 amp, which is NOT suitable for heating elements and urns. You CANNOT use your power to boil a jug at your site OR to plug in a heater – this also includes appliances such as hairdryers and anything else that has a heating element. Beef and Lamb NZ Food & Fibre Discovery Challenge is coming to AgFest 2020. Does your business want to be involved?

The Beef and Lamb NZ Food & Fibre Discovery Challenge is an interactive activity aimed at growing sector career knowledge, while providing a fun and exciting way to get around field days. The aim of the challenge is to allow those attending field days (especially school and university students) to: – Discover career pathways and jobs within the sector – Meet food and fibre sector employees and employers – Connect with training options

The challenge sees students visiting the different sites at field days and identifying different career pathways and opportunities, asking questions as they go and gaining knowledge across the whole sector.

How businesses can be involved: – Display a career opportunity corflute on sight supplied by Beef and Lamb NZ – Provide a few questions about your business to be added to the challenge booklet – Have staff available to answer questions and share their career experiences to those visiting your site. *Note keep it simple for everyone involved. You don’t need to have staff present at all times for the challenge to work.

As a result your business will have: – Guaranteed site exposure – Promotion and follow up through Beef and Lamb NZ EDiary and correspondence
