The AgFest team are excited to announce that AgFest 2020 will be held at the Greymouth Aerodrome on Friday November 13th and Saturday November 14th this year. This gap has been made available by the postponement of the New Zealand Agricultural show and is a one-off change with AgFest reverting to a March or April timeframe in 2022. We are pleased to be able to secure these dates and take advantage of the Canterbury Anniversary day and long weekend; and we anticipate this will bring a boost to the West Coast economy. All existing sites for the event which was postponed in March as we went into lockdown have been held unless you advise us otherwise – you can contact us at [email protected]

This is the only rural event in the Country that has an exclusive women's shopping space, The Women's Pavilion caters exclusively for women who want to see the latest in homewares, education, skin care, fashion, food and more. Sites still available for the 2020 event, first in first served, your site will be panelled, and include power, lighting and a concrete floor as it's in an exhibiting building your investment to be in here is $700 plus GST.

For sustained longevity of this event we needed to move to a ground that gave AgFest West Coast more space to grow, and Greymouth Aerodrome provided us that much needed space, but the ground conditions weren't great due to rough weather.. Following on from the AgFest Exhibitor survey there was an overwhelming response from exhibitors to spend the $100000 Grey District Council funding on infrastructure starting with setting up permanent gravel roadways – we are currently collaborating with the Grey District Council and work will start on the road ways early 2019.

The dates for the 2020 Farmlands AgFest have been set. The Event will take place on Friday March 27th and Saturday March 28th. The date has been moved forward to fit with Easter in 2020;  Good Friday falls on April 10th that year. Farmlands AgFest is an event for everyone NOT just the rural sector; and is now going into its 5th successful event. The phenomenal growth of AgFest in the past 8 years proves how much this event was needed in this region. Existing Exhibitors proudly recommend AgFest West Coast as their preferred event – taking the opportunity to enjoy West Coast’s hospitality, while they are on the West Coast. The fast growing success of AgFest is proof that your business HAS to be there….
